The New Flash Evaporator

This "new" unit is actually a rebuilt Flash Evaporator from ~1997; it now uses the Pneuma-type air heater and stem geometry, and is here shown beside a computer monitor. This 9-watt unit is designed to operate FOREVER, without stop. The unit is turned ON or OFF by rotating the upper - detachable! - hand-held portion from the brass base. The blue LED shows when the power is engaged. (Click on picture for a larger image.)

The brass air heater inside the copper heat shield, and stem in its solid brass holder. Note how the stem engages the air heater.

The hand-held portion is shown separated from the brass base, about to engage the stem.

Brass base, and stem base, are in background.
